5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTHEEEE worst school!!! If your child has anger issues and is a low level learner this school is for you .. if not don’t even consider this school . I’ve dealt with nothing but my child getting bullied (kindergarten) hit kicked , pushed , bit etc. I took her out because we moved. My daughter is now in first grade and we had to put her back into this school. The same stuff has happened . Don’t get me started on how uneducated these teachers are and how they handle ANY situation.Parent Review1y ago - Kearns High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKearns High does not deal with bullies correctly they give them chance after chance. This person has been bullying someone for the last year and has put their hands on them at least twice with video proof from other kids. They have also posted on multiple social media platforms about this kid started rumors and even spray painted the victims number at the tracks with a sexual slur. They also posted a video of themselves doing this. They have posted videos of them selfs doing drugs and smoking in the bathrooms at school and they continue to get away with it. Some of the things they have done are considered hate crimes. I thought Kearns high and the entire granite district have 0 tolerance on bullies. Also they didn't give any notice to the victim that the bully was coming back to school and when asked why Mr. Smith said they didn't have to. That it was a courtesy that he even told the parents the day of. Yet in most cases when someone is assaulted and the attacker is detained they always tell the victim that they are being released so they can do stuff to keep themselves safe. Apparently school staff doesn't believe in this. This girl has attacked other people and brags about it on social media showing her bloody knuckles. She shows no remorse at all and by anyone's guess that she will continue to terrorize anyone who's different from her.Parent Review1mo ago - Kearns Jr High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has A LOT of meaningless fights, kids often get searched for having drugs on them and I've smelt people vape weed in the halls during my time at this school. The teachers are amazing, loving, and accepting and it feels like they really care about their jobs. There are some kids that dont really care about their education, those kids often fall behind and away from everyone else, however the school does a good job rewarding the more advanced kids with the 3.0 club. The school has a lot of counselors that are accepting and the school definitely cares for the kid's mental health. This school loves to have parents help them with their education and instead of parent teacher conferences it has "student-led conferences" where the student introduces their parent to all the teacher and the student talks about THEIR performance. overall 8/10TL;DR lots of fights and drugs, good education and care for studentsOther Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 4926 S 4135 W.

"I have lived in Kearns most of my life and it is a decent lower-middle class existence. People are friendly for the most part and there are lots of kids. Kearns has always had a worse reputation than the reality of living here has proven. We have never had any problems with crime and I've lived in Kearns for a total of 30+ years."
