Some teachers are great, others either grade totally unfairly or give students an A regardless of whether or not they did any work. The halls are unbelievably overcrowded, a complete health risk, especially now. Now they’re barring students from going outside during their (already ridiculously short 25 minute) lunch period because three students were roughhousing, and according to my student doing football drills. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child started at Edgemont as an ESL student in second grade. I cannot put into words how wonderful her teacher was at making her feel welcome and included. I am ashamed to say that even though I saw her progress in the English Language, I was disappointed with the Math Curriculum in the state of Utah, so I moved her to a charter school in 3rd grade for a better Math program. She didn't adapt to the charter school and we had to transfer her back to Edgemont where she was all happy and thriving again. I wish I had never left! "The hills are steep and riding bikes is not possible. The snow removal on the winter is sometimes sparse. But the area is the most beautiful and pleasant that there is."

"20 minutes to work, but it's a nice and quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors. University Mall is a closer commute as well as the Riverwoods Shopping Center, and there are a few great parks in the neighborhood and close by my neighborhood like Rock Canyon Park and the Orem City Park and the park across from the Riverwoods Shopping Center."
