3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a very good school in my opinion, there's been improvements with test scores. I've been to this school before I think it's great for sure. I love the teachers for sure, there amazing, sometimes there not in the best mood, but they make sure they don't take it out on students:).Other Review3mo ago - McNiel Middle

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe way to describe this school is absolute chaos. With fighting in the halls, students getting jumped in the bathroom, little to no care about the students well-being, and constant scrutinizing about the dress code, especially to females, this school is a piece of work. With the weather recently being in the hundreds, girls are scared to wear shorts, because they don’t want to go through the ordeal of being “dress coded.” Getting “dress coded” for shorts 1/8 of an inch “too short” and being sent to ISS, means missing valuable learning time. The “dress code” policy has gotten to the point of harassment of female students and a hostile school environment.Parent Review8mo ago - Rider High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy student graduated recently (22). I have been very pleased with Rider high...especially considering how poorly the school board and superintendent mismanaged the district. It is comforting to know that Rider maintained its high standards. [ 92 students of the more than 300 graduating class had a 4.0 gpa or higher. ]CLEARLY, the teachers are working hard to help the students achieve. Academics are prioritized and all students have oppotunities to grow and find enrichment. Rider has amazing fine arts..Theatre, Visual Arts, Dance Band, Orchestra, and Choir each earning many state homors. Athletics is competitive and usually makes playoffs in all sports. My child always felt they were important and safe at school. Thanks Rider!!Parent Review1y ago - Wichita Falls High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAfter 4 years with three children at West foundation we can confidently say West Foundation is unbeatable. An excellent school with outstanding teachers who care and know what they're doing. Administration is dedicated, office staff friendly and efficient, PTA involved and well funded. We could not have dreamed of a better experience for our kiddos and you will love it, too.Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 6036 Sandy Hill Blvd.

"It’s the country and all neighbors have dogs. There is a neighborhood app in case any pet goes missing and all neighbors help each other find lost or missing pets. Even missing cattle or goats. Very friendly but neighbors respect each others property and privacy. "

"Occasionally there is a block party, and a several of the neighbors seems to bounce around to each others houses for all night “cocktails” & partying on the weekends when the weather is nice. If, however, you are a Military Combat Veteran, and fireworks are a bad trigger for you, i would suggest moving closer to the center of town, where it won’t be such a fight to get law enforcement to come out and stop the illegal fireworks inside city limits, as this is more along the outskirts of the inside of city limits. Every year, more than one call, and still i have yet to see a cop show up or take the complaint seriously. We’ve been here 7 years, if that tells you anything. God Bless my spouse, he’s had to be hospitalized a few times because it is such a bad trigger for him. It’s the whole reason we are moving from here. All that being said, its a clean neighborhood, and most people are friendly. "

"For the most part we all know each other. I have neighbors that will watch my dog and swim in their pools. We also used to have block parties that were fun, but we all keep in touch with a neighborhood app. And everyone gets to contribute money to help pay for our landscaping. "

"Lots of people who’s dogs are always “getting out”. You’re expected to deal with it because the owners simply don’t know what else to do and just throw their hands up. You’ll notice all responsible dog owners walking with a large stick because this is such an issue."

"Southern Hills is a great neighborhood. The homes are all post 1985 south of Southern Elementary, and all our surrounding neighbors have been here an extended period of time. In my immediate proximity there are lots of kids and young established families that look after one another. We have owned this home since 2007, and have stayed here because our 8 year old loves her friends, neighbors, and her school."
