7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDo not send your child to this school. The staff alone is unprofessional and do not care about your child. They get large donations and try to keep things hush hush even within the school only catering to individuals with connections. Many fights all the time. Kids having sex in bathrooms, drug problems and kids overdosing and bullying from staff and students. They do not care about the well being of your children they are just a number and most staff just care about a paycheck. The kids who may experience something decent here are on the elite teams ( cheerleader, high stepping, sports ). Their parents know staff and staff treat them better and are more lenient because they improve the school imagine.Student Review1mo ago - Powell Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've been at Powell for 3 years & are very happy. We were previously in a different school district. Powell (and CISD) is better in every way. From the teachers & staff to the curriculum, Powell continues to impress us.Parent Review7y ago - Mitchell Intermediate School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am now an 8th grader at Mcc but when I was in Mitchell I remember 5th and mainly 6th grade being my favorite school years ever!! All of my Teachers were amazing and I made the most amazing friends that still talk to today! Of course there are bad kids where ever you go but if you steer clear from the really popular kids, you’re in for a treat! Homework wasn’t too bad and when it was my teachers were there to help me! Truly an amazing school and a great experience! If you are thinking of coming to Mitchell, DO IT! You won’t regret it. (I was in lc 9)Other Review2y ago - Mccullough J High School

"Great neighborhood with very nice small neighborhood parks and larger area wide parks. Good pathways for walking or bike riding. "

"Schools in the area are fantastic. Our neighborhood in particular has kids that get together in the summer to play kick the can and capture the flag. Look for neighborhoods in Alden Bridge that are cul de sac neighborhoods. Don’t live on a street that has two outlets. "

"Perfect neighborhood kid walk/bike to school. Markets, schools, ice cream, pizza, parks, playgrounds, community pools all a short distance away on perfectly maintained bike paths. "

"Our neighborhood watch coordinator has mad skills, keeping us appraised of new people moving in, and working hard to create a sense of community. Clovergate has a special Halloween potluck for everyone before the kids go trick-or-treating. "

"so far as I know, there is no public transportation within Alden Bridge. The commute to Houston is long. There is a park - n - ride here, but it only stops in a few stops in Houston and the last time I used it, it ended pretty early in the evening. "
