5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFrenship High School is an amazing school!!! Everyone at the school was amazing when my son went to school there. They have a zero tolerance bullying policy and they stick to it 100%!!!! They were all so kind and caring when my dad passed away unexpectedly from leukemia in September 2020, the beginning of my son's senior year. Thankfully my dad didn't have COVID, but it was still a complete nightmare for all of us!!!! Everyone from the principal, to the teachers and nurses were concerned about my son and check on him on a regular basis after he returned to school. Frenship High School is a VERY safe school!!!! They have their own police department that patrols the schools on a regular basis. All doors are kept locked except for one of the front doors and you can only go into the office. You can't access the rest of the school or the students at all. They are extremely protective of their students and they do everything possible to keep them all safe under any and all circumstances!!! Frenship High School built a 9th grade center for just the 9th graders to attend before moving to the high school, which was wonderful!!! When my son was in the 9th grade center, a student at the high school made a stupid comment, which they took VERY seriously!!!!! They locked down all of the schools in Wolfforth and they had the Wolfforth police, the Frenship ISD police and the Lubbock police and swat team out there. They did EVERYTHING to assure there was no threat to the students and that they were safe. Thankfully they were all safe. During that time, I texted my son a lot. I knew that the teachers would understand us calling or texting our kids excessively to make sure they were safe. Lots of parents went there even though we were told not to. I didn't go to the school. Texting my son a lot made me feel better and I wanted to stay out of the way of the police and swat team. Like I said, it was a stupid comment by a kid and nothing bad happened. But they took it seriously and did everything great to make sure all of the kids were safe. I always felt that my son was safe at Frenship High School and he absolutely loved going to school there!!!!! The only thing he didn't like was how crowded it was but it's an extremely popular and amazing school and they are planning to build a 2nd high school to help with the huge number of students attending there.Parent Review1y ago - Frenship Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is honestly very good, I’m a 7th grader who’s moving in a few months and I’ve been at frenship since 4th grade, I recommend this to everyone. They became a little strict on cell phones by if ur good u can earn them. The people aren’t rude and if ur used to being popular it’s not hard to get popular if u js talk to people a lot. Learning is also easy and the teachers are nice. Sport wise this is a good school for athletes the sports aren’t easy and the coaches really push u to ur best.Student Review1y ago - Willow Bend Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNot good! My son has been labeled as what they see fit like they're certified doctors, and can diagnose issues. Labeling my son from the start only holds my son back from learning. With their own beliefs comes their own way of dealing with it. I've repeatedly asked them not to self diagnose my son, for it to only fall on deaf ears. The teacher has even grabbed my son by the face, and when we took it to the "top" we were bullied (yes, bullied!) into taking our son back to this teacher. I take my son into school every morning, and the principal always looks at me rudely. These reasons are why I rate my experience with this school as a bad one.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 5713 County Road 1200.

"Lubbock is a large small city. On this W side of Lubbock, crime is low, close to interstate, a mall within 1/2 mile, another within 3 miles, great restaurants, parks galore. This particular neighborhood is private, with our own clubhouse, 2 pools, great neighbors, great schools, A truly family friendly, safe neighborhood. Most homes in this area are approximately 2500 to 5400 square feet. "
