10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTypical Texas public school that focuses on large workload with lots of unnecessary filler, focus on memorization, teaching kids to just "do as you are told" and constant testing. The kids have 2-4 test per weeks on top of constantly focusing on prepping for STAAR test. Unfortunately seems due to the politics (or should I say politricks) of Texas Education Agency (TEA) teachers are literally being turned into order takers and just doing what they are told which makes no common sense to really educate children.School is severely lacking in diversity within the staff. The was also no mention of Black History month or focus on Black History figures the entire month of February. Ultimately decided to pull my child from the school and return to private education.Parent Review1y ago - Willow Wood J High School

We dealt with racism and bullying and my daughter was made to feel as though she had done something wrong she had to move on the school bus, when the little bullied her at school again she was the problem. "A stone’s throw from Beltway 8 and the Grand Parkway, Cypress Trails is a quiet place tucked away in busy Tomball where herons, egrets, and a patchwork of other birds visit its lakes, unruffled by the panorama of shops, salons and restaurants that stretch from Northpointe to the Vintage where neighbors know each other and value their privacy. Farmer’s Market every Saturday, antique shops and candy stores, great BBQ, wine bar, really good microbrewery with amazing food, the best yoga studio ever, parades, music festivals, a great live music venue for Texas country, old classic country, blues, independent musicians, organic and gluten-free, keto-friendly restaurant, lots of good places to eat that are from so many different cultures. We also have a great community college, and Spring Creek Park which is wooded, has lots of forest trails, an archery range, camping and a frisbee golf course. Good shopping. "

"I’ve lived here for 3 and a half years and I love it. I live on 5 acres in a country setting, lots of trees and green everywhere. The houses are spaced far apart and set back from the road. It’s quiet and there aren’t any street lights, just a few porch lights. It’s serene and beautiful, yet close to a great park for walking trails and even camping overnight and also just a mile from the highway and grocery stores, movie theater, restaurants. Just a couple of blocks from our quaint “old town” with dozens of antique stores and restaurants. "
