4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could not imagine a better school for my children to be attending. GMS was rebuilt a couple of years ago and currently provides children with a beautiful, state of the art facility to learn in. The tthe standards are set very high at this school which allows the children to reach their full potential and be adequately prepared for high school. The teachers are great with the kids and go out of their way to ensure that everyone is doing well and keeping up with the class. In addition to this, for students that are having a hard time they have several programs aimed at helping your student in the best way possible. I saw my daughter struggling and was doing my best at home to correct this, but before I even brought it up they were in contact with me to find the best possible solution. Couldn't ask for a better group of people to aid her in catching up to where she needs to be.Parent Review11y ago - Groves Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGroves Elementary is awful. My child's teacher is very polite and very well-educated, but it seems her hands are tied as she does not have the support she needs from Groves leadership. The Principal is so concerned with how the school rates overall that she refuses to repair issues at the core. She would rather report the symptoms of an issue to the parent and not validate the parent's concern and willingness to address the issue once its reported. Aside from the teacher, I dread having to interface with any of the staff at this institution. They are rude, belittling, judgemental, unapologetic and intimidating. My child is bullied here and the staff ignores it. The staff bullies me, too. It makes me sick.Parent Review11y ago - Port Neches-Groves High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNo student left behind? But students are left behind. Just passing them on without regard for their future is leaving them behind. These kids are not proficiently prepped for college or the workforce. If you are lower income, any racial group other than white, or have a child with disabilities your child is being left behind. They will not prioritize your child or their future at PNGHS.Other Review1mo ago - Taft Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to this school for all of Kindergarten and 8 weeks of 1st grade. Let's hope you never have to withdraw a kid from this school because they don't give you all the paperwork for you to enroll them into their next school and they take all the school supplies you send with your kid the first day of school. I paid over 100 dollars in school supplies for my child just for them to take every bit of it when I took her out.Parent Review6y ago - Check out schools near 6800 Camden Ln #15.

"I’ve lived her for 2 years and have enjoyed it. I like that it is quiet and more of a private area away from main roads. Our neighborhood feels safe and most neighbors are kind and approachable. They are several dog owners here and little kids as well. It’s close to an elementary school and a park for kids to play at."

"It's a very peaceful community here where we currently live and for the most part our neighbors are quite friendly as well! Also we live within walking distance if we should by chance decide to walk instead of driving to: Planet Fitness, Big Lots, Family Dollar, Wal-Mart, Murphy's, and a variety of eating establishments, and they're all within just a half mile away!"
