I am a 2025 graduate with honor at Martin HS. My overall experience was unpleasant, especially after Dr. Cavacos resigned. He was a good Superintendent. Under his leadership, AISD rated to 'B' from 'C' by TEA and now back to 'C' again. 14 Campuses were rated at 'F'. The new leadership of district could not face tough questions. On the surface, it looks like they wanted family engagements, but in the reality, they have hated it so much when it came to unethical behaviors from teachers, staffs and principals. The parents and students' voice can never be heard, and their opinions can never be considered. The board of trustee and senior district leader teams have taken friendship over fairness. Nobody from board of trustee, Superintendent to the principals in each campus have put students' interest first. And as a National Honorable student from 5th grade to my senior HS, I have witness that the school leadership cannot control the student's behavior issues and could not provide a safe learning environment for us. The culture of integrity in Arlington ISD is gone. The leaders in campus have a special skill 'LIE'They have lied to the parents and students constantly and the lies were so obvious. This is their leadership skill. I will miss them dearly.But there are some good teachers in district. Who have made positive impact in their students' life, and I am one of luckiest.

My daughter has excelled at this school and is in the higher bracket for most of her courses. She is involved in school athletics, choir and the drama program. Her teachers were very good about communicating any issues or concerns and the school does an excellent job of communicating important events and dates to look out for.

This school used to be top-tier. Now, it is below average in leadership and overall school environment. Bullying is the norm. The principal is not engaged. Most of the good teachers have retired or junped ship. I'm so glad that my youngest daughter only has a few more weeks to go before she moves on to junior high. Classroom behavior is a nightmare. The teachers can't manage their classroom,so its difficult to learn in the environment. I would not recommend sending your child to Moore. These last two years has been horrible! The administrators are there for a check or promotion, not for the kids.
