5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is ok so far, but I don't know why they send the kids home with coupon books to sell instead of things like candy bars, candles, etc. They use to send stuff like that. It's like they are to cheap to do it now. They expect us parents to buy a bunch of coupon books that don't even have really any good coupons in it. I would buy a lot more if it was things like the candles, candy bars, etc. And so would many more people. Carter has Honors classes and promotes academics and community as long as the student and parents participate and support. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTerrible. The staff here does not even care about what happens. People get bullied because of their race and sexuality. If you don’t act a certain way you are not “popular”. The lunch is terrible, they don’t even try to make good food. The principals are way too strict. The cell phone policy is not fair, last year we were allowed to have them at lunch, but now we can’t. There is no fun or jokes in this school, its all just serious education. We only get 3 minutes to switch classes, which causes a lot of people to be late and get silent lunch. The lockers are small, you have to buy your own charger if you get an ipad from the school. "People let their pets roam loose all the time. You can hear people target shooting all day near subdivisions. But other than that it’s usually pretty quiet. Good grocery stores are 45 minutes to an hour away. "
