5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have one child attending the Phoenixville Area Middle School. The last two years she has been thriving both academically and socially. The teachers and administrators have been amazing and do a great job of communicating to parents, motivating students, and keeping the school safe. I have had nothing but positives experiences with the Phoenixville schools.Parent Review1y ago - Phoenixville Area High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am currently a student here- and while most the teachers and staff are lovely- I have never met a group of students more depressed, overwhelmed, and ready to give up. This school pushes heavily for AP classes, without providing the proper means to reach the high expectations of the board- they appeal highly to the governments push for higher-testing scores while entirely disregarding students mental and physical well-being. This school was a major part in why I was implemented into a mental-hospital and walked away terrified of this place. Not only that but this school handles misogyny, racism, and homophobia with a grain of salt- whatever will hurt their image to the public- they will sweep it under the rug unless some sub-urban soccer mom complains. A couple of months ago two strangers managed to walk into the school like no issue, and sent the entire school into lockdown. But despite all this, some of these teachers keep me going.Student Review1y ago - Barkley El School
