3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not a good school to attend I highly suggest forcing your kids online. It is so bad that we have canine units that search our school. There are rats and mice everywhere. There are a lot of fights and i have not learned anything new in my three years of attending. The only good teachers here are Mrs.Trumbull and Mr.Jackson. The kids are such a big distraction and it does not matter but the food is terrible. We have terrible funds. The teachers do not respect the students and expect us to respect them. As an 8th grader i am excited to say that i will be leaving in less than a month. I feel bad for any students that will attend in the future.Student Review11mo ago - Central Dauphin East Senior High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt’s never one solid information given correct miscommunication, none of the staff members seem to be on the same page wit communication especially regarding issue or concern the assistant principal is a joke nobody returns phone call or email in a timely manner asking for a meeting wit staff is dam nearly impossible too lazy to meet to resolve problem it’s alway he said she said with these peopleParent Review1mo ago - Chamber Hill El School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI personally don’t think the ratings reflect the ability of the teachers or the commitment to teaching at this school. I think the low rating is because parents do not prepare their children for school and do not work with their children at home to further their learning. I highly doubt this rating is a reflection of the personnel at the school. My son is currently enrolled at the school and he is in the gifted program and is academically ahead of most students (at any elementary school) in his grade. The teachers and personnel at chambers hill elementary do a great job (and are doing equivalent things to teachers at other schools that are highly rated) at keeping the students engaged and getting family involved to events and learning. It really boils down to what happens inside the home outside of school hours. You need to challenge your kids and be engaged at home- it’s not rocket science..Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 650 Garden Dr.

"There’s wonderful people here, who don’t judge you for being a renter or owning home. Then, there are some who formed a clique to enforce some HOA-like policies."

"Uptown, Harrisburg is a diamond in the rough, that is going thru a current transition. Miton Hershey us opening a new school in the Uptown neighborhood. PA Archives and Federal Courthouse and now been added and a slew of great local grub, that you can eat and stroll by the Susquehanna River. Properties for sale are scarce, but they are a great entry price that you can have room to renovate to your liking. People are generally respectful and the crime(if any) is usually personal, respectively. "
