10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe quality of teachers here is pretty inconsistent especially with parent-teacher communication. I've had teachers that do absolutely 0-barely any communication about what's going on in the class while other teachers in the same grade level do weekly communication and constantly post on see saw. Homework here is pretty much non-existent except for one Kindergarten teacher that gives optional assignments out for the advanced students. If your student is advanced and in the TAG program, keep your expectations real low since your child won't be getting much out of this program here. Don't be suprised when your child struggles in math in middle school.Parent Review2y ago - Sunset High School

"There’s a lot of parks and there’s dog parks. However, I have nothing bad to say. A lot of places around the neighborhood have dog friendly stores."

"The transit system is great to get to downtown Portland you just have to figure out where to get off and where you have to switch to the next bus to get to where you want. Driving around beaverton is ok, driving to downtown Portland could take up to a hour depending on what time of day it is"

"I have lived in this area for six years. My family and I love the walk ability of the area and the close proximity to the freeway and mass transit. There is an incredible farmers market every Saturday that we love going to. The downtown Beaverton area has a lot of great little shops, a few restaurants and nice coffee houses. The parks in this area are the best. You can't beat Schiffler Park off Erickson. There is so much to do here. Walk, play basketball, join a game of soccer, play on the huge playgrounds, walk the boardwalk or check out the skate park. Our family especially loves the swing set on the Berthold entrance. It's beautifully tucked away and simple. "

"What a great location. Walk to MAX or grocery stores. Easy access to Hwy 217 and Hwy 26. Three parks in the neighborhood; one with BBQs and tables; one with playground equipment. Friendly neighbors -- just a great place to live."
