8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI disagree with the comment that Clackamas High School doesn’t have dual enrollment. I had two kids that graduated from Clackamas and both ended up with college credits from Portland States and Clackamas Community College. Some of the classes at the time were also AP classes. Taking and passing the AP exams were important if they were going to go to a highly selective college but most colleges did accept the PSU and CCC credits with out the AP exams. The only reason not 10 out of 10 is the school district leadership and age of the school. This is made up for by parental , community and student involvement. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageRock creek is a great community, the teachers are very nice and never very strict. Rock creek provides a safe learning environment for all students including disabled ones. The schedule can be a pain sometimes because we start later than most middle schools and we end around 4:00 which to some people can be a bit late. However they have great after school clubs and sports where students can find groups for students such as their self. We sometimes have fights but they aren’t very common and people usually don’t get hurt. Rock creek may get some negative reviews but to me and a lot of other people it is and amazing school.Student Review8mo ago

"There’s quite a few places to shop all around for both kids and adults up and down 82nd. There is a really cool rec center for kids more like a swim center down by the old Toys “R” Us and Clackamas town Center. There’s also some pretty good schools around here and some pretty nice parks if you look around."

"Yes there are a lot of people walking the dogs in the neighborhood I think there’s a few locations around to couple parks for a good walk with your dogs or dog friendly and there’s a few pet stores around also happy Valley that are really good space."

"I work with a Management team that supervises two business so my commute is to Milwaukee, Oregon 6 days a week and once weekly to three miles East of Sandy, Oregon. The trip to Sandy is an hour out and an hour back. The trip to Milwaukie is 1/2 hour each way. There is probably bus service between Clackamas to Milwaukee but it would take transfers. I am often caring bookwork and a laptop. There is bus service to Sandy Oregon, but would require several transfers from my location and service does not go beyond Sandy Oregon."

"My fiance and I are renting a couple rooms here. This is actually his best friend's childhood home and he lives here too. We moved here in fall of 2017. It's a really nice and peaceful neighborhood. There are some coyotes you can here at night sometimes, but they don't cause any trouble and I kind of like it. There are a lot of walking trails and parks scattered around the area and tons of gorgeous houses! we also have a great view!"
