6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had nothing but problems with this this school. My 6 year old daughter has been bullied on a daily basis . I have expressed my concerns to staff with no avail. My daughter doesn't even want to go to school anymore. Last year in Westside she was outgoing and happy. I have had to talk her into attending Claremont several times in the mornings while she cries outside in the car . Therefore we have incured a few " unexcused tardies" because I was outside in the car trying to pep talk her into going . The principal and music teacher are nice and she says they are the only adults there she feels she can turn to. I feel as though not enough is being done about the bullying. I am quite familiar with the state policies on bullying and have applied to transfer my daughter back to Westside.Parent Review10y ago - Claremore High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWRJH is a fairly good school academics-wise. However, it does tend to be a little "cliquey", as I think most middle schools are considering the age of the students attending. Our interaction with the Asst. Principal at the beginning of last year, our first year there, was fantastic. He was so personable and helpful in directing us to the appropriate hallway. Have a 4th soon to be 5th grader and I have no qualms about my youngest attending in the 6th grade.Parent Review3y ago

"There are wonderful, helpful neighbors in this community. It’s a beautiful private, gated subdivision with each lot being about an acre Timberlake offer mature trees, and beautifully landscaped homes. Some lots are still available. We have an HOA, and things get done in here:)"

"This is a small, quiet neighborhood. Our neighbors are all courteous and friendly. I have been very happy here the past 2 years. It’s quieter here than it was in the town of 500 that we lived in previously. (No one riding 4-wheelers past your house in the middle of the night and nobody flying past your house too fast.)"

"A little hazardous due to wild animals crossing the roadways. Also, the rural roadways around Tulsa and Claremore are very narrow and the ditches are deep. "

"Brand new houses and everyone here is friendly, being outside for an hour and you’re guarantied a smile a wave at least from someone passing by. Lots of kids leave nearby and hang out together but they all are well behaved and don’t take up the street. I’ve never had a problem with people or animals, seems everyone is happy, courteous, and respectful here!"
