The first story has wood floors, the basement and second story are carpeted and the mudroom and utility room are linoleum.
The living room has a cathedral ceiling, large front-facing windows for a beautiful view. The dining room also has an exterior window and features wood wainscoting that were once at Miami University. An eating bar separates the dining room from the kitchen. The latter has a Jenn-Air stove with hood, two sinks and a garbage disposal, cabinets for pots and pans, spice shelves and a pantry. There is a built-in microwave oven, a dishwasher and a refrigerator.
Past the dining room is a mud-room with a half bathroom and utility closet. A door leads to the screened-in back porch which is wonderful for breakfasts in the spring and fall and dinner in the summer.

Other stores, some restaurants and the public library are a ten minute walk. The dog park is a five minute drive and the Miami University campus is less than one mile away - a simple, eight minute bike ride. Hueston Woods State Park is five miles away and features a large dog park, beach, boating and hiking.

I have 2 children and I have never felt I had to worry about the quality of the instruction they were receiving. I've liked every single teacher I've come across. Even the art, music and gym teachers were were liked by my children and respected by me. The PTA puts on a lot of fun activities and has good fundraisers. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageTMS seems like a very nice community, with friendly staff and faculty. My daughter enjoys attending TMS, and has had a great experience there. There are many clubs she was involved in, and athletics were a strong point, too. The only negative is that while there are good academics overall, she says she is not being as challenged in all of her classes, as much as she would like to be.
