9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am the same parent who wrote the March 29, 2010 review. I forgot to add a star rating there, so I'm writing again with one now. Meanwhile, my daughter has moved on to the middle school, where she is in the accelerated math and language arts/reading classes. My son is thriving in the fourth grade. The teachers at East Elementary are wonderful and experienced. I love that they work together in each grade and mentor the younger teachers.Parent Review10y ago - Mount Vernon High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBullying issues, kids are not treated as equals...Zero communication from administrative personnel to parents. Also, a good amount of kiddos lost a peer and a friend to an unfortunate tragedy this summer and NOT ONE email or open door from any of the HS counselors there for these kids!! Ridiculous... mental health issues are swept under the rug....Other Review2y ago - Mount Vernon Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhat I experienced at this school was inerporet talk to the classmates/students like talking about how cute there areas and looking at girls inerproretly and it can and it will miss u up and makes u feel uncomfortable in this school and they dont help u with bullying and most of the salff there are unfair with classmates/students and there free lunches are ether moldy or cold or put green beens and carrots into random lunchesStudent Review8mo ago - Check out schools near 712 E High St.
