7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two kids at Vermont and couldn't be happier with the atmosphere, staff and parent involvement. The teachers are wonderful educators and people in general. The new principal seems to be a good fit so far and is making the schools more inviting and welcoming. Everyone from the secretary to the librarian to the custodian is very friendly and really look out for our kids.Parent Review12y ago - Wyoming High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible. Wyoming schools like to sell themselves as giving a private school type experience. Residents generally go along with this charade out of concern for their own property values. But Wyoming is an insular small town. Moving into this district as a middle or high school student is an experience I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.Parent Review4y ago - Wyoming Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy oldest came to Wyoming Middle School after attending private school through fourth grade. Honestly, I have to say that WMS does a better job than the private school did. I had concerns about moving to such a small, tight knit community, but the kids have welcomed the new kid right into their group of friends. I'm impressed with the character and kindness of my son's peer group. While the school definitely seeks high academic success, the real secret weapon of WMS is the community. The parents are involved and stress the importance of education at home. Simply, kids go to school with other kids who are expected to behave and perform well at school. The entire community demands and promotes success in the schools. The instruction is straight forward and the teachers are dedicated and kind. Yes, there is some overemphasis on the blasted tests for a month preceding the tests in the Spring, but that is the piece of evidence that everyone looks at when evaluating and comparing schools. It is kind of a necessary evil and honestly, it is the way of the world.Parent Review12y ago - Check out schools near 7 Vermont Ave.

"Cincinnati is cleaning it up because the gun violence in that area is bad, id there's not a shooting everyday then it's every other day. even the young teens carry and shoot people. I know the city and community is cleaning up the local area, but it is close to downtown Cincinnati, right where the best hospitals in the nation are, far enough from downtown Cincinnati to make it affordable just got to weigh in either your wallet isn't effected by mortgage or rent then your safety or life. I would never raise children in this location "
