Let's u be part of the family. Garfield has soo much potential and good students. They offer so many things.Don't let a few kids get to u. Oh and u should definitely join student council :)!!! I have never had such a wonderful experience with a school and its staff as Glover CLC. my sons teacher is absolutely wonderful and always keeps me well informed on what is going on. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs somebody who attends this school, this is by far one of the worst schools ive been to, there is to many fights way to much bullying and the teachers and principal just don't care, I have always enjoyed going to school, but not this one though, I recommend that you don't send your kid here, believe me you will regret it, at my first year in this school I was already being picked on and it was always so hard to concentrate on my work and it really effected my grades, ao far since i've been there 10 kids left and im about to be one of them I cannot stand it anymore, kids were going around stabbing other kids with pencils and making tiktoks about it, every single morning we have to walk through a metal detector to make sure nobody is carrying weapons, it's just crazy....Please I beg you, DO NOT SEND YOUR KID HERE!!!Student Review1y ago

"I guess its nice that there are state parks in the area where you could take your dogs to spend some quiet time, go on walks, and get some fresh air. The East side is my preferred part of Akron; However, having said that, just be careful that you pay close attention to which part of East Akron you are in— If you end up in the wrong area, you may be looking at a situation where you'd want to keep a closer eye on your dog, for example. Also, keep in mind, Akron isn't very rural, so you'll have plenty of somewhat busy, to very busy streets all around you... If you've got a dog that likes to get loose, you may want to take precautions to avoid any dangerous accidents."

"We keep watch, nothing doesn’t get unnoticed, it’s a kid and pet friendly neighborhood, always looking out for the safety of all kids playing, and pets safety during the hot and cold weather season . Neighbors very friendly and very honest, they’ll tell it to you straight, if something is of concern."

"Everyone seems to have dogs in the neighborhood but a lot of them do not maintain them well. Some people mistreat them by leaving them out on chains all hours of the day or not cleaning up after them as they should"
