4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm aware there are good schools and bad schools but what I know about Gordon HS is revolting to see how people are putting it down. If your child is lazy and does not want to do, the teachers will be annoyed and frustrated. My son has been attending Gordon and is graduating this year. He is an honor student, has about 12 college credits, is in the medical magnet where he's taking EMT certification while staying on the principal honor list. He's been accepted by 5 colleges with scholarship for some in the $16,000/each. When there are parent meetings, you do not see the parents of the students who are struggling.Parent Review9y ago - Cross Hill Academy

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt's a failing school, and remain a failing school until the teachers and administrators take a proactive, not reactive approach to learning and discipline in the school, YECA and Cross Hill respectively. The teachers take an unusual amount of time to answer a simple email, communication is very poor, work is based on modules, with no explanation of what and why certain assignments are being administered. YPS and the state should close the school and replenish the faculty to teachers who genuinely what to see children succeed.Parent Review4y ago - Yonkers Early Childhood Academy
