    "Well the city of hood river hit a home run with this park, the park is well kept and a nice attraction on its own....but the beach on the bank of the Columbia river is really great. Its an awesome spot to go for a swim on a hot day. The view of the river is impressive and with all the windsurfer and kite boarders on the river it really is a great place to relax. Also just across the street is a row of restaurant's/ brewery's and shops, it has a real good vibe to it all. And downtown Hood river is just up the street with more to check out. "
