8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is disgusting. The teachers + staff do not have a care in the world for you, i see kids vaping in bathrooms, innocent people getting bullied left and right, and you can't go a milasecond without hearing a racial slur. its absolutely disgusting. The deans and principals play favriots as well. I once got in trouble for something that i'd didn't even do and it was actually this kid who was close with the principal that did the crime but of course the brian dead staff chose the kid they were close with. overall, i do not recommend this school at all. even the classes are messed up. it's the same thing as middle school except you walk to your next class alone. Also, did I mention that the gap between bells are two minutes long? My class is in the basement and my next class is on the second floor and they expect me to get up there in two seconds. The school is just absolutely ridiculous. Please do not go to the school.Other Review10mo ago - Ps 32 State Street

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCurrently have one child graduating from PS 32 and another child starting, this school has provided a safe and nurturing environment for my older child for the 6 years he has attended, every teacher he has had was without fail caring and invested in his education, social and emotional development. The paraprofessionals were all wonderful for him as well. He is always excited to see school staff outside of school and they always warmly greet my child by name, even the Kindergarten staff that haven't had him in a class for 6 years, which shows they have developed personal bonds. I cannot overstate how well the school staff adapted to continue to provide a stellar experience for my children during covid and post-covid. The parents and PTA are also very active and invested in the well being of the students. The only downsides I can think of is the school building itself is small for the student body, construction is underway to double the size of the building. And pickup can feel very chaotic with so many students but that I think that speaks to how many neighborhood families want their children to attend PS 32.Parent Review1y ago - World Journalism Preparatory: A College Board School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWJPS is a joke. There is so much bullying and so much violence. Administration does not punish the perpetrators so it gets worse and worse. Save your kid from this school!Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 159-11 29th Ave.

"They’d like to see other neighbors walking their pets. Neighbors don’t usually talk to each other and there’s very few patches of grass for dogs to walk on. I’m in Barclay and parson and that’s how it is here. There are other parts of Flushing which are real nice and better maintained. All in all I feel safe in flushing, more so than most other parts of New York. So you will enjoy walking your pet peacefully. Also there are barely any rats. In 3 years I’ve only come across four at most here in flushing and I walk everyday. Do you don’t have to worry about your pet getting a disease that way. Beware though of the endless spits everywhere. It’s gross "
