We have been very happy at Brooks Hill! Classroom experiences always vary with teachers, but I have found that almost without exception, our teachers have been excellent. There is a constant drive to follow and adapt to best practices. I appreciate the play-based Kindergarten initiative. The PTA is very active and involved which adds a lot to the student experience.

I agree with some of these reviews, the staff pretending how great everything is. Talk to your kids and find out what's really going on. Teachers are supposed to care for our children, make them feel welcomed, and set a good example. Some of the teachers bully the children, calling them out in class to embarrass them, pick on them, and single them out, making it almost impossible for them to feel comfortable and learn. No adult, let alone a teacher should treat children the way some of these teachers do. And if you try and address the problem with the school staff, you will get nowhere.

I was beat up, choked out, and harassed for being transgender. The principal also made me feel very uneasy and fearful. The vice principal grabbed me by the shoulder while going to the bathroom to question me about something I was not even involved with. I felt unsafe and have to say this was the worst experience of any school I have had. If I could rate it 0 stars I would.
