10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter graduated two years ago. She now goes to a a prestigious university and her grades are fantastic. Looking back, I have no doubt that the academic rigor at Bronx Science prepared her for any, and I mean any, college in the nation. I KNOW that too many universities are underestimating the students from this school and believe that they have to acquiece to non-academic variables and statistics. If your child gives it their best shot at Bronx Science, their resiliance, confidence, and character will be more than enough for them to succeed anywhere. I hope that college admission officers read this. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is constantly having issues at this school. The school has no real structure. Students hang out in hallways and bathrooms. Children go unmonitored for lengthy amount of times. Teachers only try with students they feel are “worth” trying with. The assistant principal is nice. The principal is a nightmare of a person. Bullying is very present in this school you should hear some of the insults these kids say to eachother when I go to pick up my child. Fights happen inside the school I can’t imagine why children in elementary school could want to be violent with one another. I can’t imagine what gets said inside the actual school building. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school was the baddest school in the world. I learned nothing from this school in the past 3 years. Most of the teachers were horrible but it wasn't there fault. Most of the students were below grade level. The kids in this school do not even know how to write a good essay or even multiply. I am now attending Bronx Science which is the top 3rd high school in New York. I am struggling with all subjects because the school did not teach the stuff that they needed to teach. Not only this guys. There were fights everyday. These kids in this dumb school were cursing 24/7 and they liked insulting people. If you are planning to go to this middle school. Please do not go here. It is the worst middle school ever.Other Review10mo ago

"I see they have a lot of bingo nights in the park. The people are friendly and its mostly quiet. Its just going past University Avenue to get to the shopping area you feel like you came out the suburbs and entered the hood. Other than that the community is clean and quiet. "
