One of the teachers at MES just received "The Teacher of The Year" award for the entire state. This school attracts the best teachers. The principal is also top notch and very engaged with the faculty and students. The school also really drives some great activities that really keep the kids energized and learning. Just recently the school put on a literacy activity where all the kids in the school (K-5) put together poster boards about a book of their choice. "New dog park on Stephanie heard it was really good! Living on Johnson there is not a sidewalk or neighborhood really to walk dogs just through trails and such which is also awesome. "

"Very dog friendly, people are always walking dogs all day long. There hasn’t been any dog attacks though, they are all very good dog owners. Not a lot of dog barking at night either, but plenty of coyote howling."

"My neighborhood is mostly older couples and families, everyone is friendly, a few are a bit busy-bodyish, but we don’t do any neighborhood events. Most people are very private."

"Safe area, except for scorpions, rattlers and at night coyotes. The coyotes will steal pets that are left out at night. Cats will help keep the scorpions from infesting your home. Expensive homes, mostly older folk, and families. "

"The Carson is a wonderrful place to live. The Beverly Hills of Nevada! Beautiful views, great outdoor activities, good schools, great activities for seniors, good shopping and entertainment. Lakes, golf courses, ski slopes, hiking trails, parks and lots of activities for the horseman."
