4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is below average. The teachers barley teach in grade 10 and then give students so many assifnemtns. Dont get me wrong some of the teachers actually teach but most dont. The vice principal is very strict. If your showing 1 inch if your stomach thats a referal, very bad. Barley any activities besides clubs and no air conditioning, the school was 90n degrees once. The students are okay depending who you hang out with, but most are nicer.Other Review10mo ago - Sayreville Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a current student at this school and hate it here. People said it would be more fun and freeing going to middle school, I'm a 7th grader in its school, and all years of being here have been horrid. The teachers are too strict and mean. It feels like they discourage us, and make us want to die with the homework and work overload.Yes, there are a few nice teachers, who explain things to you in extreme detail to make sure you don't get lost. But the teachers who expect us to learn or understand the first time doing the topic is so annoying. It makes me want to cry whenever I get frustrated but the teacher couldn't care less, they'd just say, "You weren't paying enough attention." or "You were probably concentrating on something else."I could go on an entire rant about this school, but I don't feel like typing that much. This school has a lot of bullying in it and the teachers don't do anything about it. In gym, the girls get constantly harassed and annoyed. In classes, some teachers won't believe a colored student when they say a white kid is bothering them. I hate it here.Sincerely, a current student at this horrid schoolStudent Review4mo ago - Wilson Elementary School
