2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere's a reason why the North Bergen HS is one of the lowest rated schools in the state and the country - The BOE presides over a school system that is run by people who have multiple jobs in an inbred system. Mayor Sacco's son is the principal of the Lincoln Elementary School, which runs the preschool. The mayor's son's wife is the supervisor of the preschool. Nepotism and cronyism are prevalent throughout the North Bergen school system. The North Bergen Board of Education is a dangerous monopoly - Its members ran unopposed in the election. There's no PTA in North Bergen. "Let the buyer beware."Parent Review1y ago - Horace Mann No. 9 Elementary School

Parent Review1y ago - Lincoln No. 5 Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teaching staff is amazing, they are really dedicated to give your child the best learning experience they can have. They are determined to help your child succeed. My daughter is in the schools ACES PROGRAM, the special education teachers and the teacher aides have gone above and beyond to ensure my daughter has a comfortable, learning environment. They give her the support she needs to finish any task given to her. Since my daughter has special needs sometimes she needs, emotional support as well. The entire staff is there to comfort her and redirect her back to learning when she is having an emotional moment. My daughter went from not wanted to go to school when she arrived for her first year at Lincoln to being an honor student that is sad when I have to keep her home when she is sick. This speaks volumes about the teachers at Lincoln. Mr. Sacco is the school’s Principal and he does a phenomenal job!!!! He makes the school a FUN, learning environment. My daughter is so happy to go to school and is actually excited to go to school every day. He communicates extremely well with parents and is always there to answer questions you might have. He plans great events for the children, dances, concerts, story readings with the principal, field day and so many more I can’t even begin to list them all. He runs a school that is teaching children that learning is fun. In my opinion, the staff at Lincoln School has done an above and beyond job at making learning fun. After all, that is what a school should be, educational and fun to attend. My daughter is graduating this year and what she wrote in her yearbook can sum up her experience at Lincoln School as an incredible one. The question was, who inspires you? and she stated “Teachers inspire me, they take care of me and help me feel smart!”.I can’t thank the ENTIRE staff at Lincoln enough for the past 8 years. If you child goes here, rest assured that they will be taken care of and have a blast while learning!!!Parent Review10mo ago - Check out schools near 500 80th St #F4.

"I’ve lived in this neighborhood since came to US -15 years- and I can say it’s very walkable, has great transportation, lots of options for grocery shopping and restaurants with all kinds. Schools are ok, police patrols are common I think this keeps area safe at all times. Park is really nice space to wind up, specially now with new ordinances in order to keep it clean for all citizens."
