Description
This property is no longer available to rent or to buy. This description is from November 18, 2021
Tucked away in the Rural side of Evesham, This Classic 1850’s Farmhouse was expanded in the 1990’S and is now a mix of the original historic elements and modern amenities with nearly 3000 sq ft. The added areas were well thought out to honor the essence of the home’s beginnings. Every room in the house is unique and it's hard to tell where old and new meet. Entering the front there is a large vestibule that leads into a very large formal Living room with crown molding and a wood-burning fireplace with a vintage mantel and pine flooring. The Crown molding and pine floors carry into the oversized dining room with large windows that bring in plenty of natural light. From there you will walk into the large kitchen with its new granite tops, pine floors, and breakfast bay that overlooks the lush yard and gardens, and woodstove. From the kitchen, you enter the original home. These two original rooms are used as a den and family room, fresh wide pine floors in one room and the original pine floors in the other make you feel like you are in 1850. These rooms also have the original exposed rough sawn joist and original fireplace. The cozy side open side porch is accessible from this space as well. From the rocker on the porch, you can enjoy the 200 + year old oak tree that shades a nice portion of the yard. On the second floor, you will find a super-sized owner's suite, with a walk-in closet and generous-sized bath with a soaking tub and shower. The bedroom also has a private balcony that overlooks the woods and the beautiful grounds. There are two additional bedrooms and a bath as well as an area that can be used as a computer station or study area. The flooring on the second floor is all pine as well. Two sets of stairs access the second floor. Back to the first floor off of the kitchen is an enclosed screen porch that is large enough to house the 6 person Spring Dance Spa hot tub and still have enough space to entertain a large party. Down below are 2 separate basements. One on the newer side is big, dry, and perfect for storage or to finish. The other on the original side is perfect for a wine cellar, poker room, or cool home office. An electrician owns the home and it is loaded with recessed lighting and electrical upgrades. The outside of this home is clad in western red cedar purchased from Medford cedar products to match the original house. It has a fresh coat of paint as well as a fresh coat of paint on the standing seam metal porch roofs. The house just had a new roof installed in June 2021. The home has all Andersen windows. The yard is a nature lover paradise with lush greenery and various plantings of color. Large specimen trees, a few large black walnut trees, and oaks bring nice shade to all the sides of the home. The front of the homestead is anchored by an authentic wrought iron fence and antique Philadelphia Penn Globe Company Cast iron Street lights that at one time lit the streets of historic Philadelphia. There are also 2 sheds complete with electricity. The driveway has an RV electrical outlet and the seller will install an electrical car charging station with an acceptable offer. The recent upgrades include Fresh paint in and out, Roof June 2021, High Eff HVAC in 2016, New well pump, and new granite tops. The Septic system was designed and is big enough for a 4 bedroom home. Not another home like it in all of Marlton

Was told it is the luck of the draw if your child happens to have a teacher who knows how to teach children with dyslexia. Our children deserve so much better! In general, the teachers were not understanding of learning differences and did not know how to support these intelligent children who have amazing potential in the right learning environment!Parent Review2y ago - Marlton Middle School

It's a great area to live and there are always kids And adults biking , walking and more. Definitely more small town vibe with out the taxes of Cherry Hill and Mt Laurel. "

"Schools are great!!! Teachers are amazing!!!! Taxes are high, but you get what you pay for. If you have children, definitely a great place to live. Single or just a couple, not needing the schools. I’d look somewhere else. The schools are what keep us here. When they graduate, we’ll move.. Con: Traffic!!! "

"There's only one bus route that is not easily accessible. There are many stores in the are that make living here convenient. The drive towards Philadelphia can be a nuisance depending on the time of day. Rte73, between Rte 70 and the promenade tend to be high traffic areas. The community is well maintained and the neighbors are generally friendly. My packages and cars are safe. I would continue to live here as long as I can. "
