4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst, I will say as a very seasoned healthcare worker who has risked my own health to protect those in our community and have enjoyed helping others for over 15 years, I am disgusted with the lack of integrity these public workers have for the management of meeting the needs of disabled children. The administrative, social work and IEP team at LME do not prioritize and/or are unable to recognize (or frankly disregard) the needs of children with disabilities. They act as if they know more than board certified physicians and therapists in determining a child’s diagnosed disabilities and needs. Their decision making skills are on par with the antivaxxers of our COVID pandemic who use doctor google and wikipedia as trusted sources for decision making, while also protecting their own pride at the expense of a child's needs. Some of the teachers are excellent but many play the puppet game and lie to support the false claims of their leaders at the cost of the children. Why? Because it costs money to provide services and it’s difficult to admit your decision’s are failing a child because that means you have to take a hit to your pride. Sadly they cant afford either, so the kids suffer. If you send your child here, know that if you fight them for something your child needs they will try to strong arm you and disregard your child's needs because they take personal offense to being called out on there carelessness and they will battle you to save their pride and money they are already struggling to maintain. If you are meek this is not the school for you. Do your research and temper your expectations.Parent Review2y ago - Veterans Mem Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student I have a bad relationship with this school. I feel I learned more at the elementary school! I will explain each one.Learning: As a student I have not heard one student be excited EVER about going to school. It is terrible the lessons are not fun and just all in all bad.Teaching: I love my teachers it is by far the best thing about the school. The problem is the teachers are amazing but the lessons they are making them teach are just so bad and uninteresting that it's no fun to go to school. Social support: The counselors are amazing! But other then counselors I don't get a lot of help emotionally. Special Education: If it was not for this teachers would have a 5 star too. But I have autism and have literally been denied what my IEP has put me down to help me. I have asked to be put in front so I could have less distraction and i have been put in the back! I have gotten detentions for forgetting a pencil!Safety: By far the worst. I get bullied every day. It has gotten to the point where I can't do anything about it. I have told people about it and nothing changes. I get made fun of for how look, speak, act, my autism and more. This is why I never want to go to school. Not even the fact that the lessons are bad it is just how blatantly they seem to not care I get bullied every day.Family: They get my family involved always when they need to. They def help with that. But it just is not enough.Student Review2mo ago - Brick Twp Memorial High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou don't learn much and if you do its stuff you do not need to know for college at all. The students are rude and dont care about you in anyway. There is pretty much a fight everyday maybe even 2-3 times in a day. Some of the teachers are great and lighten up the mood but you only see them once. They block you from the wifi so you cant use your phone for class if a teacher tells you to unless you waste your own data for it. There is not much support and everyone acts like 5 year olds.Student Review7y ago - Check out schools near 22 Rodger Rd.
