4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averageformer southern student and, after going to college originally for education, though finding myself in another field entirely after a few years, I can say that most people don't realize how lucky they are to attend a school like Southern - with amazing opportunities for all types of extra curriculars, budgeting to accommodate students desires both in and outside of the classroom, and a pay structure to retain talented teachers. Especially, given the size of the community Southern supports they really do a good job of making students feel more then a number (I graduated with nearly 1000 students so I can attest to this). Sure, there are going to be some teachers that are better than others (any school or university has this issue) but if students feel they were not given the chance to be extremely successful at southern they just did not take advantage of all the school system has to offer.Other Review1y ago - Southern Reg Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved back to Manahawkin from another state. We are so glad we did the previous middle was a “great” school that didn’t live up to its review unless your student fit the mold. Southern is great and his dine more for our student in a few months than the other school did in years.Parent Review2y ago - Ethel A Jacobsen Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a former student and graduated in June of 1973! We always had great teachers, a good music program, gymnastics, library materials, etc. I am almost 52 years old, but do credit my early training at LBI grade school as a basis of life-skills that were needed for success in life.Other Review10y ago - Check out schools near 1607 Long Beach Blvd.
