6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have two children at Middle Creek. We have been there for three years now, even having to work through the challenges of Covid and remote learning. All of our children's teachers have been fantastic. Mrs. Winkler, Mrs. Rogers, Mrs. Lewis, Mrs. Hoover, Mrs. Yoder, and many of the "specials" teachers have all been wonderful. Our children have flourished, love going to school, have made a lot of friends, have become vigorous readers, and are doing well in all of their subjects. The only critique we have is that they could be better at challenging students that are perhaps already familiar with some of the base lessons. Especially returning to in-person learning after Covid, 1st grade was a repeat of many of the things that were learned in Kindergarten... 2nd grade was a repeat of things that were learned in 1st grade, etc. It is a shame that AIG is not offered until 3rd grade (I started "gifted" in 1st grade, for example), but that appears to be an odd Wake County policy instead of something that is specific to Middle Creek.Parent Review1y ago - Middle Creek High

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMiddle Creek has its pros and cons. I would say around half of the teachers are excellent, and the other half to put it simply, are not. The bathrooms are nasty, but I guess that is to be expected. The school is relatively safe, although "stuff " is used. There are good sports, and extracurriculars, such as theatre, and clubs. The equipment in the classrooms is pretty old and out of date, and some is entirely damaged. For the most part, the kids here are kind, but of course, some people can be mean. I would say, all in all, Middle Creek is a fine school.- Current Middle Creek MustangStudent Review1y ago - Holly Ridge Middle

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is a terrible choice for parents and students looking for a supportive teachers. Teachers will rarely listen to or try to understand a student's point of view. The administration will ignore many student concerns without any investigation unless parents interfere. Many of the work handed is just busy work and rarely has an impact on student learning. There are some helpful teachers but there are even more cruel teachers. It's incredibly hard to fix grades that a student didn't deserve without parental interference. The courses offered are very restrictive as well.Student Review8y ago - Wake Nc State Univ Stem Early College High School

10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have had an amazing experience as a student at this school. This has made me not only ready for college but also the professional world. Throughout my four years here I was able to grow and learn through the help of the incredible students and staff. I can't wait to see what Wake STEM becomes.Student Review4y ago - Wake Young Men's Leadership Academy

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhile we have had a few bumps getting our boy engaged, the leadership have been great partners with looking at options. This school is a college prep school so there is not an emphasis in the Arts, but more a focus on core curriculum. We love that there are male teachers teaching our boy as they provide examples of strong role models. We love the uniforms!Parent Review2mo ago - Wake Young Women's Leadership Academy

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll teachers are very attentive and helpful especially Principal Baker during this pandemic. We are very lucky to belong to a school who treats the children as their own.Parent Review3y ago - Check out schools near 3620 Marble Ridge Ln.

"Yes, North Raleigh, located in North Carolina, United States, is known for having some excellent schools. The area is home to several highly regarded public and private educational institutions. These schools often offer rigorous academic programs, extracurricular activities, and resources to support students' learning and growth. It's worth noting that school quality can vary within any given area, so it's important for individuals to research and consider specific schools based on their unique needs and preferences."
