3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average8/10 would be my rating only because it is still in the beginning of the school year and our experience with the school itself is still very fresh. I look forward to growing my experience with the school and having my daughter attend the school as well.Parent Review4y ago - Ritenour Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've had 3 children within 6 year span go to Ritenour Middle. I would highly advise any parent to try to send their children somewhere else if possible. There ARE some amazing faculty members. But also a high number of teachers/ principals/counslers that are awful! And I mean awful! They have given up or maybe never cared. A few of them even bully some kids. Laziness is a big part of the problem. The education you recieve from RMS is a joke. Students and some teachers cuss daily and fights are weekly at least. Some of the teachers don't even talk properly to children. The officer on campus was pretty inappropriate with my 12 year old daughter. And overall it is unsafe, unclean, and all 3 of my children whom are completely different and thrived at their other schools, struggled at Ritenour Middle.Parent Review11mo ago - Ritenour Sr. High School

"I just live down the road and I love the area. I have never felt unsafe in my home. However this is a floodplain and when they put in that boardwalk along ellendale, the way I'm seeing is that it's only going to get worse with flooding. I would have really liked to buy my sister a house here. I haven't marked it off my list but, I have very serious reservations."
