The school would let my children be taken out of school during school hours without notifying me. I went to this school (I go to the high school unfortunately) and the other kids were TERRIBLE to the point where I was BULLIED CONSTANTLY AND SENT TO THE COUNSELOR WHO DID NOTHING BUT TELL MY PARENTS ABOUT MY PROBLEMS!! the girls were rude and childish and the boys were outright disgusting and EVIL. the food was completely like prison food unless you had enough money to get snacks or a cookie from the snack line which was the bare minimum. The teachers are either ok or just plain annoying as I never really talked to them that much. The school doesn’t even handle homophobia and transphobia well either along with their racism (mainly towards asians) other than the other black kids constantly using the n-word. (I’m black too but I never really use that word). If you truly care about your kid being safe then take them to an ACTUAL SAFE AND WELCOMING SCHOOL, NOT THIS ONE!Other Review1y ago - Raytown Sr. High School

"I lived in this neighborhood for 4 years now, everyone seems to get along with one another, there isn’t any major crime that’s happen here and my kids can comfortably walk to and from school!! "

"my neighborhood is not absolutely horrible, but it doesn't perticulaly feel very welcoming by any means either! I've also heard gun shots fired on 4 or more occicasions! "

"I’ve had my dog the entire time I’ve lived here (3 yrs) no issues dog wise. Other dogs are friendly. Love using the little dog park area in the spring and summer. And the complex is big enough to where you can walk a circle and get enough exercise! "
