5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would have liked it a bit more if the teacher would make an attempt to fix the bullying problem. The only teacher that actually tries to stop the bullying in Lewis and Clark Middle School is Stewart Alloway the band teacher he tells his students don't let others bring you down because if you do the problem will get worst, so stick up for each other.Student Review4y ago - East Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI graduated with the class of 2021, and I have a lot to say about my personal experience as a student. Staff members other than teachers have given me the worst experience. I had a 504 plan, which was never followed through with, and many of the office staff members had things to say about me. It was not professional at all. It changed the way my counselors treated me and my overall experience with mental health treatment through this school. I had severe anxiety and panic disorder, and strongly discouraged from taking any action to help myself by staff members who deal with IEPs and 504s. I had previously tried putting things in place, and spoke to a few staff members about what the most helpful path for myself would be, but my inquiries were pushed aside along with my need of extra help to make the school environment as safe and comfortable as possible. It wasn't brought to attention until I had missed a total of weeks of school, only then did they care. I was bringing down the attendance averages and my grades were starting plummet. Only then did they finally care and realize that I needed more than average student treatment. I wasn't reflecting what they wanted, then they finally let me start the 504 plan papers and actually recognize me as a student with needs beyond what they offered to fully functioning students. Even when I had obtained the 504, it was ignored by a lot of staff members and in the end didn't do what I needed it to do to be the most successful I could be. I am now attending a university and have been a lot more successful in my school work, since I left this school. The environment was terrible, even outside the staff not meeting students with disabilities' needs. Average students still struggle in this school, and it is very obviously reflecting on this website. Test scores are terrible, and students here are not at all interested in the teaching styles presented; and, are overall uninterested learning anything from this school altogether. Violence and bully was handled horribly as well. My class is known as being the most violent out of all the classes, which says a lot about how staff members handled violent students. Not. At. All. There are many other schools located around this high school. Please send your child to any of these schools, as long as it's not here. Especially, if your child has needs of a 504 and IEP because they will not be met here.Other Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 1303 E McCarty St.

"Only sidewalks in some places and stop they unexpectedly stop on busy roads. There are some quieter subdivisions you can walk your dogs in where the road is safe and not having sidewalks doesn’t matter as much. Watch out for houses with messy front yards and street areas where broken glass could hurt your pups. "
