3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI snuck out of the school successfully, probably almost solely due to the fact that I was part of the priviledged demographic of being white from a high income fsmily. Most teachers took no interest at all in msking learning interactive or enjoyable. Segregation is strong at the school. I recall very little interaction with people of other races, even though there was a very high percentage of hispsnics in my time at the school.Extra curricular activities seemed fully focused on highlighting the top performers, while not encouraging anyone else to participate, even when they showed a very strong desire to do anything necessary to contribute and improve.Student Review3y ago - Kennedy Elementary School

The goal of this school is 100% to get the lowest kids up to (potentially) average - while the average and above average kids are not being challenged at ALL. The teachers are wonderful, but are being told to spend time with the lowest achievers (which there are many). We receive zero homework and my child is bored nearly every day and we can already see his test scores dropping from above average - closer to average. Which they are not concerned about at all. "There is a new Dog Park that is well-maintained by the Willmar Noon Lions Club. People are out walking their dogs in all parts of town, day and evening. Dogs are leashed in town. "

"On the 'wrong side' of the railroad tracks, so most need to drive 2 extra miles to get around the train. Must drive for any needs, as is 2 miles from 'anything' for food or fun, unless you go to one expensive convenience store."

"I live in this area. I believe it to be a quite area of the city and has very little crime. neighbors a friendly, not much traffic, all homes are kept up nice, right amount of children, young adults and retirees in this area. Excellent!"
