I would say up until 2017, things were tough with bad administration and school board but then something changed, completely changed. New board members came in and cleaned house, new administration, better decisions for the kids and community. Now, even just a few years later, Kingsland is the premier school in our area. The teachers at the elementary are amazing, the principal is fantastic and the culture is happy, comforting and wonderful. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI understand the reviews written in 2016 and before and I agreed with them then. But now things are so different at Kingsland. New school board members came in and drove those problems right out. I would not have believed it could happen until it did. There is a different superintendent and elementary principal and that has been huge for the school. There is now all new school board members and the chair is probably the best thing to ever happen at Kingsland. Lots of the teachers are the same as always but they have different attitudes now and really work hard for the kids. The school focuses a lot on homework help and being a big school family. I am happy with Kingsland and my kids love it there and have a lot of pride now.
