6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCPHS is great in terms of academia and the wide variety of non-athletic extracurricular activities. As an alum, I can attest to the fact that the teachers are always so willing to help you and push you to do your best. However, there are a few cons as well. My previous counselor was not much help in terms of pushing me to challenge and do my best. When I asked her for advice on classes, she pointed me to the easy classes -- classes that required little to no effort to obtain an "A." In addition, many of the athletic activities required a large fee. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is outstanding. The teachers are good, and the place is welcoming overall. But, with all things, there are some problems. For example, during drills like lockdown, I don't think staying in the classroom is safe because what if an intruder comes who knows the layout of the school? What happens then? Also, putting your head on your knees during tornado drills isn't safe because there are videos showing roofs getting ripped off of schools. But, overall the school is a good place to be and I think parents should bring their children here because it's a safe and welcoming environment. This park features amenities for almost every outdoor activity, including the Winter Recreation Area, Eastman Nature Center, miles of hiking and biking trails, a swimming pond, and much more. Elm Creek is also home to a variety of wildlife such as eagles, sandhill cranes, deer, bluebirds, beavers, loons, Trumpeter Swans and hawks. If you don’t know it, come see it. You will be delighted"
