4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe've had a great experience with Raisinville with our granddaughter. The International School status is pretty awesome. Students learn about other cultures and teachers have specialized training. My granddaughter is learning Spanish in 1st grade. Starting kids so young with a second language increases the likelihood they'll be fluent in two languages. They also have art, music, and gym. The staff are very good. I believe low scores are really reflective of covid. So much time out of school was not good. So I skipped a lot of school just to avoid it all. "the two main roads telegraph and monroe Street are always laden with construction and I75 always has an accident forcing traffic onto those two streets from the highway, so expect anywhere in monroe to take you 15-25 minutes to get there on a good day"

"We participate in downtown Monroe events. The music in the park, art, the parades, Christmas tree lighting, the restaurants. You can also spend a day or two walking around reading all the info about Monroe’s history, as well. Talking a stroll by the water...visiting the many parks and many churches to visit of different denominations, too. "

"My area is so convenient to everything. Neighborhood store, police, hospital, medical facilities and fire department. Local transportation in front of house. Quick access to stores, schools, churches, downtown, concerts and all highways. It is an amazing area to live with a very small turnover of residents. "

"public transportation is nice for a small town like this. you can go to the college, secretary of state, social security office ,the mall and other destinations for a small fee. Farmers Market is behind Tiffanies pizza. lots of parks and nature walks near lake Erie. Great place to live. 25 min drive to Detroit or Toledo. "

"All of my neighbors look out for each other. We have eachothers backs without being too nosey. Most of us have surveillance cameras setup around the outside of our homes so it would be incredibly difficult for a crime to happen and no one notice it. Its a very secure and safe feeling."
