3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son transferred in from Waterford last school year. Every one of my son's teachers reached out to him and to me, making sure he was fitting in, making friends, and enjoying his new school. Teachers gave suggestions on how to meet and make friends, I felt as though they truly cared about my child's overall well being, not just academically. My son was challenged, gently pushed, and encouraged academically, by all of his teachers. This is a wonderful school, with a talented staff that really cares. We love this school!Parent Review7y ago - Clarkston High School

Teachers simply do not care that there are a thousand other assignments due from other classes, and some of these assignments are just busy work. Teachers just don’t care about mental health. "Every summer downtown they shut the streets and have what they call the taste of Clarkston. The local restaurants sell bite size treats of the food they cook. You buy tickets and each item takes different amounts of them. Thousands show up for the two day event!!"

"We have awesome views, lots of very old trees, friendly neighbors, most homes have 1 acre lots, homes are all kept up well with professional landscaping and no sidewalks. The pond in the neighborhood is more of a nature preserve and all the common areas which can’t be built on, all add to the ambience of this community. "
