9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in her 2nd year at Magruder HS and is thriving. She's involved in sports, has a great group of friends and is enjoying her classes (at least most of them). We are excited about the new administration and are excited to see what direction the school goes in. So far, we are very pleased with our experience at Magruder.Parent Review6mo ago - Redland Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagethis school is the worst the staff hates some kids and makes kids mad the "clean" bathrooms smell like trash water and kids get hit and punched all the time. teachers don't try to help and if you miss one work assignment you get an email home and you get yelled at by teachers. if I cud give 0 stars I would worst school everStudent Review1y ago - Sequoyah Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school administration is very invested in the safety, education and progress of the students. The school feels like a community where parents and teachers work closely to support the students , My only issue with the school is how the county has the school zoned, some of the neighborhoods that feed into the school are from across town and create a large disparity in the socioeconomic make of the school. Resulting in challenges when attempting to achieve equitable experiences for students and families.Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 5912 Muncaster Mill Rd.

"My family lived at 511 Crabb Ave. They bought it the summer of 1954. It was 2 beds with one bath. We had a lot of fun with all the kids on our street. There was a neighborhood elementary school, Maryvale, we walked 2 blocks to the school and in good weather walked home for lunch. I attended Richard Montgomery High School. The metro did not exist at that time. "

"This neighborhood is definitely a very dog friendly place! While I don’t personally have a dog, I see at least 20 dogs go by outside my window every day walking down to Welsh Park. There is a large open field where dogs can run around so many people bring them there. It is also just a neighborhood where a lot of people walk around because there are paths and things like that in Welsh Park as well. "
