Both of my sons graduated from River hill and had a great experience here! River hill prepared them amazingly for a superior college experience! My oldest is now a physician and the other on the deans list at his college. Thank you river hill teachers, and staff !

The Regional program was introduced quietly during the start of Covid. There wasn't any communication sent out. Families were not made aware of it. Regional Program basically sent the worst, troubled, behavioral kids to TRES. There is frequent episodes of violent disruption where staff and students have been hurt. The school used to send out emails stating the school had performed a locked down due to an incident that occurred at school. The lock down emails have stopped not because the incidents have stopped. The school did not want concerned parents questioning what's going on at the school. Lot of resources have put into the Regional Program at the expense of regular programs that used to promote growth and advance learning. My biggest concern is a lot of the young kids age 5-12 are being exposed to violent language, violent behavior on a regular basis. Bad behavior is become normalized and acted out by the kids when adults are not present. If one speaks up about it, one is quickly silenced, hence I have left TRES. TRES used to be a great school.

My son goes to Folly Quarter and has felt great contempt for this school ever since he went there. The teachers are very lenient on actually doing work in class and assign all the work for homework. The teachers are not as responsible as teachers from other schools around the county. Many of the children are disruptive and don't focus on class. Profanity is widespread throughout the school. The effort put into the lessons by some teachers may be slightly lacking.
