"Lots of trick or treating at Halloween. There are not a lot of formal community events in our little neighborhood. But it feels neighborly, people say hi to each other., it feels safe, etc. Our downtown has lots of fun community events - Art Night Out once a month, a Jazz Festivsl, fun parades, community walks, many annual events. It’s fun! "

"I have a wife and an eleven year old son. We have been living in the area for four months and we all feel more at home here that any other place we have lived. Northampton has all the good aspects of a large city and a small city. We feel safer than where we lived in the south, and we are close to great restaurants, galleries, shops, bars, music venues, etc. As for Harrison Avenue; we think it is the best street in town!"
