5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the worst JH in the district! My daughter was bullied the two years she was there. I get most schools have this problem but my daughter was physically assaulted twice within a month. The administration tried to get her expelled the second time because she fought back! The administration is terrible, the SRO is terrible and clueless and some teachers are very unprofessional! It’s not a nurturing environment at all, which is what they still need at this age. They are overly strict for no reason and will try to get a student in the most trouble as possible! They will yell and curse in a students face! I get that some kids at this school are animals but that doesn’t mean you have to treat every kid like an animal! My daughter transferred and has never been happier! The administration needs to be replaced!!Parent Review1mo ago - Magnolia Trace Elementary School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageExcellent school, great teachers and administration. Teachers communicate very well regarding your child's progress. Very inclusive for those students with disabilities. My child is very happy here. I would highly recommend this school.Parent Review5y ago - Lakeshore High School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI would rate this school a 10 out of 10. Adcedemicly and the over all character of the school has been amazing. Each person that I have come in contact with truly wants to be there and cares deeply for the children. Honestly I was worried about sending my son to such a large school being that he hard a rough year last year at a different school but I couldn't have made a better choice. My son is so happy and tells his teacher that he loves her on a regular basis. He has learned far more than my expectations and is eager to learn more. Homework is easy because he wants to do it, there is not fight in the morning to get dressed or head out the door. He is happy and I cant thank the school enough for that.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 1623 Clover St.

"I’ve visited this neighborhood on and off for four years. It had lovely historic areas as well as newer subdivisions. Some restaurants are world class. It’s a nice distance from New Orleans but just close enough to it for a fun night on the town. It has excellent public schools."

"I drive across the lake to get to work. There is very little traffic and the causeway is very well maintained. I receive text and email alerts about construction, accidents and other possible delays. "

"Not ideal. Causeway bridge for commute gets old after 10+ years of doing it 5 days per week. If you’re and 8-5, traffic is slow towards Jefferson Hwy."

"The commute to New Orleans is long and tedious. Traffic, construction and drawbridge activity hinder flowing traffic. If commuting to the south shore I suggest moving to the south shore."

"Like that most people have dogs and are dog lovers. Not like that people really do pay attention to whether you clean up after your pup. May also not like that pups are not welcome in the common areas."

"Here for 30 years, Mandeville is quiet suburban life as it should be. Streets are fixed before they go bad, or a day later. Light goes out, call city hall, Mayor likely to answer, new light tomorrow. Bike robbery gets two detectives. Best schools, good neighbors, community activities. A great place to live."
