5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current gifted student here most of the teachers are really great. The administration is a little bit questionable. The gifted enviroment is very positive. The Spanish immersion and regular Ed environments are a little questionable though. Most of the French teachers have like no filter though.Student Review6mo ago - O. Comeaux High School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've heard great things about Comeaux High. There is a lot of adversity and a lot of programs for students to participate in which is great because my daughter loves to be involved. My daughter recently transferred to Comeaux. She is a 9th grader. She ran track at her previous school, so I am looking forward to her shining at Comeaux on track and field. My daughter has been talking to me a lot about college because the teachers/staff is pushing them towards college. However, I do agree with another review; the school is outdated and needs a major facelift. A person is a product of their environment. The schools look can be depressing after a while. After my daughters first day that was the first thing, she mentioned to me when she got home how outdated the school is which is very true. It looks OLD and smells OLD! With a new look it would be a positive environment and increase student productivity. It starts within.I look forward to seeing how my child succeeds with the help of Comeaux High. So far, so good!Parent Review2y ago - Corporal Michael Middlebrook Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSo far I have been very impressed with my child's Kindergarten teacher and the advanced classes available to younger children. Several of my neighbors have children in either advanced or language classes, all of whom are very happy with the curriculum. This school is also located in a very nice part of Lafayette, making it a pleasant experience overall for my children. I was considering moving my child into private school starting in first grade, but now we feel very comfortable leaving him at Plantation. In my opinion, this is a great school for your young child's development.Parent Review9y ago - J. Wallace James Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageJ Wallace James is an awesome school. The teachera actually love their job and it shows in how they love and support their students. My boys love their school. The teachers and staff go out if their way to make learning fun.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 100 Briar Leaf Way.
