2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCtap ..southern high school is a joke . Turning to the counselor for help is like trying to claw your way out of a metal wall. The principal is impossible to talk to and the teachers curse at the students. The dress code is ridiculous. They have to stand and spin for the teacher every morning before they even say the pledge. Which to me is a bit of sexual harassment. The dress code reads fine. It’s the way they enforce it and how they treat the children that I disapprove of. They treat them like they’re in prison, pushing them against the wall making them put their hands to their sides measuring their fingertips. Nothing about any of that is OK to me. They put them in ASAP and don’t allow them to do their work. They don’t allow them to have a pen or pencil they don’t allow them to read. They just sit there and look forward and if your child has ADHD like mine that is pure torture , and again like prison. I don’t recommend the school if you have an option, I would choose the other option. There is lots of fights. Some of them are racially motivated. Some of them are because of your sexuality, but they are so bad that children end up in the hospital because the staff will not interfere. The kids get in trouble all the time and on while the bad kids rule the school and do whatever they want and never get in trouble it is backwards and frustrating and I’ve been to school boards I have been trying harder than anybody to talk to somebody to help my daughter, but they just set us aside and give us a piece of paper for online school , which is not an option, so they want to push her out of school and dismiss the whole situation so I would not choose the school if you have a choice. It is not a good place for your child. They will have a terrible experience. My child is not the only child who has had a bad experience. I know several and it’s sad because they want to quit , they will probably quit school. Good luck out there.Parent Review1mo ago - Laukhuf Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is halfway through Kindergarten and he is doing great. He loves his school and so do we. He has grown immensely in his ability to read and add/subtract. He has a 504 plan and I believe his teachers and the administration have done an excellent job working up the plan and using it to support him. The school has a fun, engaging atmosphere and you can tell the teachers, students, and staff all really enjoy being there. So far a great school for my 6 year-old.Parent Review5y ago - Knight Middle School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school has so many flaws to many to name. Just a few my daughters life was threatened by a boy the school did nothing. I told them she was getting bullied and that she was going to get jumped they did nothing and 2 boys jumped her. I don’t know what to do at this point she don’t feel safe she can’t be herself she has to be what everyone else wants her to be. The only reason I gave this school 1 star is because I had to rate it to leave this. If I can help save someone else’s child from the bullying and the teachers aren’t much better! They are rude and don’t care about the kids!Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 6803 Casey Pl.

"tt is common to see neighbors walking with a variety of their adorable pooches..I've never come across an owner or pet that was not pleasant. The dog walk area as well as the large fenced in dog run are always kept nice, clean and inviting. The Community Management keeps plenty of high quality "pooh" bags on hand as well! Overall, a very nice and safe community! 😁"

"The area is quiet for the most part, and the crime isn't all that bad. Housing requires more than 1 tenant to have a job, or 1 tenant with a high paying job. Have lived in this neighborhood for 19 years, and it has only gotten better. Minus the traffic during the holidays and the first few weeks after school starts."
