I go to this school, not a bragger about it! I been going here for the last five years almost. I feel as the school could move on to be a better system. I feel as they are worried about the staffs getting payed then educating the students. this year we have laptops, I believe it is distracting everyone from the use of education, books and paperwork is what I was grown to use, why take something away that will educate us better and help us to a better lifestyle. I feel as the school has failed me, teachers do not keep your grades posted on time, and they do not always go with the lesson plan they say they will use for that day. I feel more work needs to be piled up and the state should take over this school, maybe if that happened five years ago, I would be a better person in todays society and not feel as dumb, not saying the dumb part is there fault. discipline within this district is just so childish, they baby us more than anything. You have lunch detention you cant sit with your friends, i believe that is childish and bigger and better actions can occur. I had a in school suspension I asked the asst. principal to make sure I had plenty of work, only one class gave me work.

My children go to this school. I also have children in high school and they were much farther ahead when they were in elementary school but they went to a school that is about 30 minutes south. I feel bad everyday for bringing my younger children to VF and I will find a way out. The principal always has his head in his phone.
