9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved from Rockford Illinois to Newburgh one year ago. My daughter went to a gifted magnet school from 1st to 5th grade. We provided the transcripts and test scores from our daughters previous school, and she submitted the required writing assignment. The administrator was in contact with her teacher, and was enrolled into the Excel program. She was not the only student new to Indiana to be entered into the Excel program. Mrs. Schaperjon was able to push the students to improved themselves. She gave them homework assignments I know I didn't have in middle school. As a diligent student, Castle North was the right school for my daughter.Parent Review7y ago - Yankeetown Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe had an incident with our kid and a teacher. I felt like the teacher still went way to far.. but, I did feel like the school handled it well and put my kids interest at best. With that being said, my kids homeroom teacher tries to go above and beyond for my kid. They do have moments where both aren't understood, but for the most part they are trying methods that will help build their relationship and better my kid education wise. I still wish there were resources out there to help this school for education purposes.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 5112 Martin Rd #C.

"I live and work here. It is a beautiful town, with a wonderful bike path/ walking trail winding along the river. Lots of people can be seen walking, running, biking, pushing strollers, walking dogs, etc. on this trail. Frequent festivals and concerts are held here. There are 5 or 6 boutique restaurants within walking distance. Excellent schools. Low crime. Best place in the Tri-State to live!"
