2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI used to work at the center near there. I was there from 2002 til 2015. A couple times a month, some kid shooter and or a kid ditching would be running in Thatcher woods from that school and the police/ guards would be chasing them. The center would go into lock down for our own safety. Kids from that school that have gone to the center were either scared, dangerous, or didn't care about anyone but themselves. Driving by there isn't safe and anyone from Chicago, Melrose, Maywood, and or Forest Park knows not to send their kids there. "This is a very quaint area to live. It has good schools, wonderful parks, close to LaGrange to catch the train. Bus at the corner takes you to the CTA and O'Hare. Can leave your car at home! New shopping area has everything. A few blocks to the Eisenhower expressway. Neighbors are friendly. Lots of sidewalks for walking the dog. Love it!"

"I use to live in Westchester, and it's a great place to raise a family. It's very safe, and kid friendly. You are 2 minutes away from shopping at Home Depot, Target (2 locations to choose from!), Jewel, Menards...it's all there. You are about 10 minutes away from Oakbrook Mall and all of the restaurants in that area. I-290 is right there, so you are about 20 minutes from Downtown Chicago."
