8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school in 2012-2013 for my first two years of high school. Despite the small class size, nice building, and intelligent teachers. I was miserable. They like to "judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree and tell it that it is stupid when it falls time and time again". I was that fish and I was not able to fit into the cookie cutter student ideals they created. They offer a program called Running start through the local community college for a student to attend college full time during their Junior and/or Senior year. I was signed up for this program and qualified for everything. Then with one week of school left we were informed that I would be taken out of the program if I didn't raise my math grade. I studied harder than I ever had and basically taught myself an entire semester's worth of info because the way the teacher taught did not fit my learning style. I got an A on the final and raised my grade but they still took me out of the program. I withdrew from the school and now attend the college on my own as a homeschool student and I am thriving. this school needs to figure out a way to allow students who are different still succeed and not be miserable.Student Review9y ago - Pecatonica Community Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have found the leaders to be difficult to work with, the school tolerates bullying as the staff themselves are bully’s.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 8010 Trask Bridge Rd #125.

- Mar L.

"I work 5 minutes away and work in the school district, but I drive my kids to school because I don’t trust the school district bus. They both also go to two different schools, and both start at two different times. My teaching schedule doesn’t fit their schedules this year because the school district decided to start school later than last year, and much later start on Thursdays this year. Having to run around early in the morning is no problem, since where I live right now is close to major intersections. "
