8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have two children at Audubon and overall have had a very good experience thus far. The community is super supportive of the school, the principal and teachers are caring and hard working, and our kids are developing strong friendships. The curriculum is strong on Reading and Writing, includes specials for music, art, gym, computers and health. The school is not blessed with a big property, but the outdoor play areas and landscaping were updated a few years ago and are very nice. School-based team sports begin in 5th grade.. There are afterschool programs available that have been hit and miss.. but we appreciate all the options we have in the City. We would like to see the school differentiate more so all students feel challenged.. for our family this feels especially true in math, which seems to be taught only to the middle of the pack. However, we find there are many enrichment options either within the school or nearby in the community which have provided plenty of growth opportunities.Parent Review2y ago - Lake View High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal Karafiol is fantastic. He impressed us on day one and continues to run an amazing neighborhood school. We had heard such negative things about LV but that turned out to be outdated lore. Lake View HS is an hidden gem! Our college freshman graduated in 2023 and our sophomore will graduate in 2026. Keep an eye on their STEM, art and athletics!Parent Review3mo ago - Check out schools near 2357 W School St #2357-3W.
