2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible experience with registration. Returning Student information incorrect, deleted and no information available in skyward. Last minute notification. Horrible communication on what is actually the real issue other than robot calls with no actual specifics. No STAFF reaches out to you especially after leaving messages. I had to call multiple times to get someone on the phone to try and assist me.Claudia Gonzalez is very rude; no class and no respect when speaking on the phone. She has a tone as if she does not like her job and did not assist this concerned parent, other than to say don't send your child to school on Monday because a schedule will not be available. Quick to give me her information along with her supervisor's as if this is nothing new to her and isn't nothing going to be done about it attitude anyway."I been speaking to parents all day" "Go ahead and call the district" her exact words. My Straight "A" Honors Student has to suffer the consequences of the school's lack of communication & staff that want to hurry up and get you off the phone instead of helping you resolve the actual problem. This is very unfortunate that parents have to deal with this type of non-sense from school administration. Very Unprofessional!Parent Review8mo ago - Edison Elementary School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis has been the best school I have ever transferred my children to. The time and dedication the staff is with our children is indescribable. Dr. Bernard is such a dedicated principal and is the definition ofServant Leadership in this school. She not only helps teachers provide excellent teaching strategies but also works with the parent to be more involved and helps with techniques for teaching ur child at home. The Stickney police department is highly involved and attentive to the children of only with traffic duty on the street but walk the hallways to help children feelSafe and assuring not only staff but parents as well that safety is nothing u need to worry about. This has been the most welcoming area not only with neighbors but parents at school as well.Parent Review1y ago - George Washington Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHonestly I am very concerned with the lack of importance given in regards to bullying! I was there to report physical bullying against my daughter with videos showing proof of kids attacking her inside the school as well as the school bus. As I was there, another parent arrived to report physical bullying against her son! Clearly something as serious as this needs to be addressed and enforced properly with students and their parents! The school clearly isn't handling this matter very well. I will be addressing this with the Superintendent of schools, attorney as well as making sure the media gets these videos and is aware of what is going on at George Washington Middle School!Parent Review7mo ago - Check out schools near 4016 Oak Park Ave.

"Friendly, quiet neighborhood. I love my neighbors. Some of them are my age, some of them older. We are close to highway. Not too far from the North Riverside mall. The schools could be better. A specially the high school. Our kids go to private schools. "
